We're thrilled to officially welcome back Grace Skinner, our Payroll and HR Administrator, who has returned to the office after 10-month’s parental leave.

Grace shared her enthusiasm about being back in the 4 Site Security team, saying: "It was so good to be back with my colleagues again. I was launched in at the deep end, however, as it was payroll year-end and, just before I went on maternity leave we had just put everyone on monthly payroll, so this was my first experience of a bigger payroll run. People are starting to think about planning their holidays too, and I've had nearly 60 holiday requests to process in just one week. The 4 Site Hub is new and I'm enjoying learning training on that. It looks great for the business for keeping us up to date with training dates and deadlines and making training more accessible and enjoyable."

Adjusting back to work after a significant time away can be a transition, and Grace openly acknowledges this: "At first, coming back to work, getting into a new routine, and reminding myself how to do things is tricky after many months at home in an environment that is ruled by a baby's routine. I am very much enjoying getting out of the house, the interaction with other adults, and the mental stimulation of dealing with new challenges and problem solving in my work role."

Grace expressed her deep appreciation for the supportive team at 4 Site Security, especially as a new parent. She feels well-supported at work, with plenty of advice and experience shared by other colleagues with families.
